Renan Capaverde

Renan Capaverde has extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles, currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Nubank since November 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing the Investments Platform and managing engineering teams. Renan has advanced through various positions at Nubank, starting as a Software Engineer and progressing to General Manager of Investments. Additional experience includes a Membership Associate role at Angeles Investors and a K-Pool Venture Member at Smart Money Ventures. Earlier positions included Big Data Software Developer and intern roles at Chaordic, Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT, Dígitro Tecnologia, and CIANET. Renan holds an Executive MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a degree in Control and Automation Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, with an exchange program completed at RWTH Aachen University in Mechanical Engineering.
