Peter Winzer

Peter Winzer has worked in the telecommunications industry since 2000. Peter began their career at Alcatel-Lucent, working as a Bell Labs researcher. In 2007, they joined Nokia Bell Labs as a Bell Labs Fellow, and subsequently held the roles of Research Director and DMTS. In 2020, they became an independent consultant and also founded Nubis Communications, where they currently serve as Founder and CEO.

Peter Winzer obtained their Dr. techn. in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Technische Universität Wien in 1998. In 2019, they were awarded a Dr. h.c. from Eindhoven University of Technology.
