Julian Adams

Julian Adams is an accomplished leader in the field of science and medicine, currently serving as the Chief Science Officer at Stand Up To Cancer since July 2023. Previously, Julian held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Gamida Cell Ltd. from 2018 to October 2022, focusing on advanced cell therapies for blood cancers and serious blood diseases. Julian's extensive experience includes leadership roles at Infinity Pharmaceuticals as President of Research and Development, and at Millennium Pharmaceuticals where multiple senior vice president positions were held. Earlier roles include Director of the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at Boehringer Ingelheim and Research Fellow at Merck Frosst Canada Ltd. Julian's educational background includes a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from McGill University and a post-doctoral fellowship from Columbia University.
