Joseph Bolton

Applied Mechanics Engineer at NAC International

Joseph Bolton is an experienced Applied Mechanics Engineer currently employed at NAC International since January 2013, specializing in numerical and classical analysis of nuclear containment and transport systems. Previously, Joseph served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and FEA Technical Lead at Mercer Engineering Research Center from March 2009 to January 2013, focusing on developing and validating finite element models for aircraft. Joseph began a career as an FEA Design Engineer at L&L Products, Inc. from August 1999 to January 2009, where responsibilities included optimizing structural reinforcement designs using composite materials. Earlier roles included CAD Designer and FEA Engineer positions at Comau Pico and Grossel Tool Co., where initial experiences involved tool design and basic stress analysis. Joseph holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
