Huiping Zhu

Vice President, Assay Development at Nuclein

Huiping Zhu has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious organizations. Huiping currently serves as a Board Member for the To Cure A Rose Foundation since March 2023. Prior to that, they held roles at Nuclein, where they were the Vice President of Assay Development starting in June 2022, and previously the Sr. Director of R&D from August 2021 to June 2022. Huiping also worked at Luminex Corporation - A DiaSorin Company as the Director of Assay R&D from February 2021 to August 2021. Before that, they worked at Asuragen as a Senior Scientist III, Manager of Research and Development from December 2013 to February 2021. Huiping Zhu's career began at the University of Texas at Austin where they served as a Research Assistant Professor from September 2010 to November 2013. Prior to that, they worked at Texas A&M Health Science Center as a Research Assistant Professor/Research Scientist from August 2001 to August 2010. Huiping also gained experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Munroe-Meyer Institute from September 2000 to July 2001. Zhu's earliest work experience involved serving as a Research Associate Professor at Peking University Health Science Center from September 1997 to September 2000.

Huiping Zhu completed a Bachelor of Medicine degree in Preventive Medicine and Health Care Administration from Peking University Health Science Center, between the years 1987 and 1992. Later on, from 1992 to 1997, Zhu pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genetic Epidemiology, also at Peking University Health Science Center.
