Carolina Villa

Carolina Villa has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Carolina is currently working at Nucleus Capital as a Principal and previously worked as an Advisor at the same company. Prior to that, they were a Business Development Manager at StartLife. Carolina also participated in the Newton Venture Program as a Newton Scholar, where they gained knowledge and skills in venture investing. Carolina has held the position of Business Development Manager at Planet B.io @ Biotech Campus Delft, CJ CheilJedang BIO, and DSM. Carolina's earlier roles include being a Senior Associate Scientist and Assistant Scientist at DSM, as well as a Researcher at CTBE. Carolina has also volunteered at the World Food Programme and completed a PDEng program at TU Delft.

Carolina Villa obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Professional doctorate in Bioprocess design at Delft University of Technology from 2010 to 2012, specializing in Biotechnology. Carolina's undergraduate education took place at EAFIT University, where they earned a degree in Process Engineering from 2004 to 2010. Additionally, they attended Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences in 2008, focusing on Engineering.
