Dr. Paul Hammer

Dr. Paul Hammer is an accomplished entrepreneur and expert in life and data sciences, serving as the CEO and Founder of BIOMES since November 2017, with a mission to enhance individual well-being through innovative technologies. In addition to leading BIOMES, Dr. Hammer is a Limited Partner at Nucleus Capital, a venture firm focused on supporting entrepreneurs addressing systemic health challenges. As an entrepreneur at Hammer Biom KG since September 2014, Dr. Hammer develops new business models within the life science sector. Previously, Dr. Hammer co-founded Halotek Biomaterials from August 2016 to April 2017, where the focus was on innovative biomaterials derived from naturally occurring microorganisms. Dr. Hammer's academic background includes a Bachelor and Master of Science in Biosystemtechnik/Bioinformatik from TH Wildau and a doctorate in Systembiologie/Bioinformatik from the University of Potsdam.
