Christopher Waldrop

Christopher Waldrop, PE, currently serves as a Project Engineer at Nucor Building Systems since November 2022. Previously, Christopher held various roles at Vulcraft Verco, including Production Supervisor, Project Manager, and Structural Design Engineer from January 2018 to November 2022, where responsibilities involved leading project mark-ups, training detailers, and improving project checklists. Prior experience includes serving as the FEAD Director at Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), overseeing facilities engineering for Naval Air Station Kingsville and managing over $51M in capital projects. Christopher's background also includes roles as the Naval Construction Force Liaison Officer for the US Marine Corps, Project Engineer/Construction Manager at NAVFAC, and Detachment Officer in Charge/Engineer Operations Officer in the US Navy, contributing to various military construction and engineering projects. Christopher holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from The Citadel and a Master’s Degree in Construction Management from Louisiana State University.
