Jon Vanwagenen

Jon Vanwagenen is an Engineering Intern at Nucor Buildings Group since May 2023, where responsibilities include completing engineering quotes for construction bids and designing projects to enhance overall safety. Previously, Jon held a similar internship at Nucor Buildings Group from May to August 2022, focusing on designing structural steel projects compliant with the AISC Steel Construction Manual, gaining safety procedure experience, and utilizing BIM software. Additional experience includes working as a Landscaping Assistant at Rountree Landscaping, managing boat rentals at Log Country Cove, and serving as a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp Longhorn. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Texas A&M University, earned in 2023.
