Matt Brooks

Matt Brooks currently serves as the Vice President and General Manager of Nucor Steel Decatur, LLC since May 2023. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Vice President and General Manager at Nucor Steel Tuscaloosa, Inc. from July 2020 to June 2023. Matt has a solid background in the steel industry, having served as General Manager at Vulcraft of New York, Inc. and Sales Manager at both Nucor Yamato Steel Co. and Nucor Steel Kankakee Inc. Additionally, Matt's career at Nucor Corporation began in 2005, where roles included District Sales Manager, Inside Sales Representative, and Electric Arc Furnace Second Helper. Before entering the steel industry, Matt worked as an Assistant Divisional Supervisor at Walter Mortgage Company. Matt holds education credentials from Tarleton State University, completed from 2012 to 2013.
