Nadja West

Nadja West currently serves as a board member for the Bob Woodruff Foundation, Mount St. Mary's University, and Americares, and holds independent director positions at Nucor Corporation and Tenet Healthcare. Additionally, Nadja West is a board trustee for the NATIONAL RECREATION FOUNDATION, INC. and previously acted as a public speaker for Leading Authorities, Inc. from April 2020 to March 2023. An accomplished leader, Nadja West was the Commanding General of the US Army Medical Department and the 44th Surgeon General of the Army from December 2015 to October 2019. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in National Security and Strategic Studies from the National War College, a Doctor of Medicine from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
