Dr. Steve Feyrer-Melk

Dr. Steve Feyrer-Melk has a long and varied work history. In 2008, they began their career as the Director of Lifestyle Medicine at Optimal Heart Center and Body Lab. In this role, they sat with patients to assess their personal health and well-being, and provided ongoing support and follow-ups to motivate them. In 2013, they joined n1Health as the Director of Health Coaching, where they developed cutting edge Lifestyle programs to serve patients. In 2014, they began working at Nudge, LLC as their Chief Science Officer, where they provided guidance on the consumer App and helped develop and refine the Nudge Coach platform for Health Professionals. Also in 2014, they became President of the Fountain Hills High School Athletic Booster Club, where they were responsible for leading fellow parents and supporters as it relates to student-athletes of the school.

Dr. Steve Feyrer-Melk obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Exercise Science and Wellness from Arizona State University between 1991 and 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a M.Ed. in Exercise Physiology from Bowling Green State University between 1987 and 1989. Additionally, they hold a Health Coach certification from the MacDonald Center for Obesity Prevention and Education at the College of Nursing Villanova University.
