Mike Powell

Mike Powell began his career in healthcare a decade ago where he practiced as a physical therapist. Mr. Powell went on to earn his MBA and has served in clinical, orthopaedics and neurorehabilitation leadership roles. Joining NueHealth in 2015, Mr. Powell currently serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for the Midwest. Mr. Powell’s responsibilities include oversight of day-to-day operations, development/growth initiatives, strategic planning and financial health for hospitals and surgery centers in Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.

Prior to joining NueHealth, Mr. Powell served in numerous roles with University of Missouri Healthcare, in physical therapy and progressive management in regulatory affairs, and eventually to Hospital Executive Director.
