Richard Matei

Richard Matei is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the agricultural and crop protection sectors. Currently serving as the Southern Europe & AME Head and Country Manager for Romania at Nufarm since February 2021, Richard has previously held significant roles such as Head of Central Europe and Head of Marketing for UPL and Country Manager for France and Commercial Director for the Balkans at Arysta LifeScience. Additionally, Richard has a solid background in marketing management from roles at Belchim Crop Protection and Syngenta, where responsibilities included leading customer marketing teams, managing product portfolios, and executing regional strategies to drive business growth. Richard's educational background includes a Master in Marketing & Management from INSEAD and a Bachelor's degree in Management & Economy.
