Claus Diener

Claus Diener is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leading innovative teams and driving strategic initiatives within the smart building and lighting industries. As the Chief Technology Officer at Nuki Home Solutions GmbH since October 2025, Claus oversees technology development and product strategies. Previously, Claus served as Vice President of Smart Building Solutions and Vice President Global R&D Lighting Brands at Zumtobel Lighting, where responsibilities included managing international teams and advancing SaaS business activities. Claus's prior experience at OSRAM includes roles such as CTO for Connected Building Applications, and various leadership positions in software development. Claus began a career in software engineering at dSPACE GmbH, focusing on automotive applications. Claus holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt and is currently enrolled in the Chief Technology Officer Program at MIT Professional Education.
