Marcus Aston

Marcus Aston is a seasoned professional in the field of design engineering, currently serving as Lead Design for Vacuum Cleaners at Numatic International since January 2010. With a wealth of experience as a Senior Design Engineer, Marcus manages and mentors junior designers while leading new product development projects from concept through to engineered products. Prior roles include Design Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed concept generation, engineering testing, and post-production support. Additionally, Marcus has experience as an Associate Lecturer in Mechanical CAD at Bridgwater & Taunton College, teaching parametric 3D CAD modeling to a diverse group of students. Educational credentials include an FdSc in Industrial and Product Design from the University of Plymouth and an Engineering Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering from Bridgwater & Taunton College.
