VP of Engineering at Numem

Ramamurthy Gorti started their career in 1987 as a Member Technical Staff at Semiconductor Complex Ltd, where they contributed to the development of CAD tools for IC design. Ramamurthy then joined STMicroelectronics Spa. in 1989 as a Senior CAD Engineer, where they worked on the design and development of delay evaluation systems and clock tree analysis tools. In 1994, they moved to STMicroelectronics Inc. as a Senior Principal Engineer, where they were involved in various projects such as cache subsystem implementation, data stream engine design, and functional verification of network packet search engine. Ramamurthy stayed with STMicroelectronics Inc. until 2005.

In 2005, Ramamurthy joined Broadcom as part of the R&D Management team. Ramamurthy managed cross-functional teams, led the development of USB controllers and PHY IPs, and was responsible for pre- and post-silicon validation of various IPs. Ramamurthy also played key roles in the design and development of RTL and Bus Functional Models. Ramamurthy worked at Broadcom until 2021.

Currently, Ramamurthy Gorti holds the position of VP of Engineering at Numem, a role they started in April 2021.

Ramamurthy Gorti obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in an unspecified year, completing their studies in 1987. Ramamurthy later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Arizona State University from 2003 to 2005.
