Joshua Okolo

Joshua Okolo has had a diverse work experience. In 2021, they served as a Kaggler for Kaggle. In 2020, they were the Website Manager, Outreach Chief, Tutor Manager, and then Chief Technology Officer for Numerly.org, where they tutored grades K-8 in math and science subjects, renovated and maintained the Numerly Website, reviewed and admitted new tutor applications, planned and organized Numerly's expansion into Katy, Chicago, and Florida, and recruited more tutors in these areas and Houston. In 2022, they will serve as a Machine Learning Engineer for Omdena, a Financial Engineer and Data Science Competitor for Numerai, and a Rosalind Bioinformatics Competitor.

Joshua Okolo is currently enrolled in Carnegie Vanguard High School and is expected to receive their High School Diploma in 2023. In addition, they have obtained various certifications from various universities, including Yale University, The Johns Hopkins University, University of Washington, Rice University, MongoDB, Duke University, North Carolina State University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). These certifications include Anatomy of the Chest, Neck, Abdomen, and Pelvis, Fundamental Neuroscience for Neuroimaging, Introduction to Neurohacking in R, Machine Learning: Classification, Machine Learning: Regression, Medical Terminology I, Medical Terminology II, Medical Terminology III, MongoDB, Nanotechnology, Neuroscience and Neuroimaging Specialization, Principles of fMRI 1, Principles of fMRI 2, Psychological First Aid, AWS Cloud Technical Essentials, AWS Fundamentals Specialization, AWS Fundamentals: Addressing Security Risk, and AWS Fundamentals: Building Serverless Applications. All of these certifications were obtained in September of 2022.
