Shivani Shrestha

Shivani Shrestha has a diverse range of work experience. Most recently, they worked at Numerated as a Product Manager starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Product Owner at the same company from November 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining Numerated, Shivani worked at Fincura where they held various positions. Shivani started as a Business Analyst in September 2018 and transitioned to the role of Product Analyst in June 2019. Later on, they became a Product Lead in May 2020, a position they held until November 2021. During their time at Fincura, they managed the core business function of Data Validation, collaborated across teams, and analyzed metrics to identify pain points and prioritize solutions.

Shivani also gained experience at Ajima Investments as an Operations Assistant from May 2018 to September 2018. Their responsibilities included researching investment opportunities, managing budgets and cash flow, and developing efficient organization systems.

Additionally, Shivani worked as a Resident Assistant at New York University from August 2016 to May 2018. In this role, they provided support and mentorship to first-year students, managed a budget for community programs, and handled crisis situations.

Earlier in their career, Shivani had internships at Adhikaar, where they served as a Communications & Development Intern from March 2017 to August 2017, and at Enterprise Bank as a Summer Financial Analyst in 2016. Shivani also interned at Hedgeable as an Operations Intern from August 2015 to December 2015 and at CITYarts, Inc. as a Development Intern from January 2015 to May 2015. In these roles, Shivani gained experience in social media management, fundraising, financial analysis, and project coordination.

Shivani Shrestha attended Bishop Guertin High School, where they completed their high school education. Shivani then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree at New York University, specializing in Mathematics and Economic Theory. After their formal education, Shivani obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field. These certifications include "Mastering Product Management" from Reforge in May 2023, "Registered Product Owner" from Scrum Inc. in July 2022, "Data Analytics Certificate" from Product School in June 2019, and "Product Management Certificate" from Product School in March 2019.
