Martijn van Gelderen

Martijn van Gelderen has extensive experience in design and management roles. martijn began their career at Design Depot, where they advised on graphic and product design and introduced the design label 'Onopgemerkt'. martijn then worked as an Industrial Designer at companies such as NUNA International B.V., Inspirate BV/Nuna International Bv, and npk design, where they were involved in various projects and specialized in concept design and product detailing. At NUNA, Martijn worked as a Lead Designer and Project Manager, leading projects for the NUNA brand and supporting the design and engineering team. martijn later joined Nuna as a Design Manager & Industrial Designer, and ultimately became the Design Director, leading the Dutch Design Studio and fulfilling brand promises through product design. Along with their design work, Martijn also started new studios and hubs, managed teams, and handled practical needs such as recruitment and location setup. Martijn's strengths include intercultural communication, budget control, and project planning.

Martijn van Gelderen completed their education from 1998 to 2005 at Delft University of Technology, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial Design Engineering.
