Maria Knox

Maria Knox has worked for four companies in their career. Maria began their career in 2004 as an Operations Manager for Commercial Furnishings Industries, Inc. In 2008, they moved to BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee as an Actuarial Analyst. In 2012, they joined Blue Shield of California in the same role. In 2015, Maria began working for Nuna Inc. as an Actuarial Manager, and later held roles as an Actuary, Data Scientist, and Senior Analyst.

Maria Knox attended Southern Adventist University from 2000 to 2004 and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in International Economics. Maria then attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2007 to 2008 and obtained an Actuarial Science degree in Mathematics. In 2013, they obtained the MAAA certification from the American Academy of Actuaries. In 2021, they obtained the Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) certification from the Society of Actuaries.
