Andrew E. Poku-Yaw Tchie

Andrew E. Poku-Yaw Tchie, Ph.D, FRUSI, currently serves as Editor in Chief at the Institute for Peace and Security Studies and holds positions as Senior Research Fellow at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs and Visiting Professor at the University of Buckingham. As an Associate Fellow and Senior Research Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute, Andrew Tchie organized the Africa in Perspective virtual conference. Previous experiences include Visiting Senior Research Fellow at King's College London, where research focused on health systems in conflict zones, and Research Fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, managing the Armed Conflict Database. Andrew Tchie's academic background includes a PhD in Political Science from the University of Essex, alongside multiple master's degrees in related fields.
