Morten Skumsrud Andersen

Morten Skumsrud Andersen is a seasoned research fellow at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs since February 2007, previously serving as a research assistant. Prior experience includes a consultancy role at the Norwegian Police from September 2006 to August 2007. Morten holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science, where also a Master of Science (MSc) in International Relations was obtained in 2008. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Studies from the University of Oslo, as well as studies in Latin-American contemporary literature and the history of Central America at Universidad Externado de Colombia and Universidad de Costa Rica UCR. Additional foundational studies in Latin-American studies were completed at the University of Bergen.
