Dean Andersen

Operations Manager at Nura

Dean Andersen has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Dean started their career at DJW Projects in 2010, where they worked as a Hire Manager. Their responsibilities included installation and operation of audio/visual, lighting, and staging gear, construction of staging gear, building and expanding the customer database, and maintenance and repair of equipment.

In 2011, Dean joined JB Hi-Fi as a Sales Representative, where they worked across various stores in Sydney and Melbourne. During their tenure, they specialized as the Google and Android Expert for two years and as the Apple Expert for one year.

Dean then transitioned to Nura in 2019, a music technology company based in Melbourne. Dean initially worked as a Customer Experience Expert, contributing to the development of headphones that adapt to unique hearing. Dean later served as the Customer Experience Team Leader in Australia before being promoted to Head of Experience. Since 2023, Dean holds the position of Operations Manager at Nura.

Dean Andersen completed a Bachelor of Music degree in Audio Production at the Australian Institute of Music from 2009 to 2013. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Architectural Science degree in Audio and Acoustics at the University of Sydney, with an expected completion date in 2022.
