Wilson Shao has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of roles and industries. Wilson started their career as a Graduate Engineer at The Department of Otolaryngology, The University of Melbourne in 2014. After that, they joined Nura in 2015 as a Hardware Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for hardware design and ensuring manufacturability. Wilson then progressed to the position of Senior Hardware Engineer and later Production Manager, where they oversaw the mass production process and implemented proper jigs. Currently, Wilson holds the role of VP Hardware at Nura, starting in January 2022. Prior to their professional career, Wilson studied at the University of Melbourne as a Student and also worked as a Summer Research Assistant for the university in 2011.
Wilson Shao completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Melbourne in 2011. Wilson then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the same university, graduating in 2013.
