Brice L. BOUTET

Brice L. BOUTET has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Brice is currently working as a Software Validation Specialist at NuRAN Wireless since April 2021. In this role, they are responsible for testing and validating software functionalities in the field of telecommunications, as well as product compliance verification and development of test plans.

Prior to this, Brice worked as a Web Developer / Volunteer at Civic Tech Toronto from September 2020 to August 2021. Here, they contributed to the development of a website and actively participated in the Accelerator Project.

Before joining Civic Tech Toronto, Brice worked as a Control Panel Builder at Franklin Empire et Division Electro-Mecanik Playford from January 2021 to April 2021.

From January 2019 to December 2020, Brice served as a Pressure Body Assembler at Romet Limited. In this role, they conducted detailed assembly of gas meter pressure bodies, troubleshooted issues, and carried out leak and pressure tests.

Brice also has experience working as a Well Logging Field Specialist at Weatherford from May 2013 to December 2015. Here, they contributed to the implementation of HyperPulse technology and conducted programming, testing, and calibration of equipment sensors.

In addition, they worked as a Modeling & Calculation Engineer at Hutchinson in 2012, where they established algorithms, integrated transmission systems, and created mechanical formulas and models.

Brice's earlier work experience includes a role as a Technician of Expertise at Hutchinson in 2010 and a Mechanical Maintenance Technician MWD - LWD at Schlumberger from April 2007 to May 2009. In these roles, they performed equipment assembly and maintenance, conducted investigations into mechanical failures, and carried out testing and documentation tasks.

Brice L. Boutet completed a Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp at the University of Toronto in 2020. Prior to that, Brice pursued an Engineering Degree specializing in Mechanical & Systems Design at Polytech Tours from 2009 to 2012. In 2018 to 2019, Brice obtained a Certificate of Achievement in Electromechanical Robotics and Solidworks from Humber College. In addition, Brice also earned LWD operations certifications in Oil & Gas (logging) from the Weatherford Training Department in 2014.
