Jake Swartzel, PhD, is a Medicinal Chemist and Project Lead at Nurix Therapeutics, where they focus on developing next-generation therapies in the bifunctional molecule/TPD space. They obtained a PhD in Chemistry from Yale University, working on innovative bifunctional molecule technologies, including PROTACs and PhosTACs. Prior to their doctoral studies, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin. Outside of their professional pursuits, Jake enjoys yoga, making music, collecting tattoos, and spending time with their cats.
