Marilena Gallotta

Marilena Gallotta has a diverse work experience in the field of immunology and research. Marilena has worked as a Principal Scientist at Nurix Therapeutics since July 2021 and previously held the role of Senior Scientist at the same company from January 2020 to July 2021. Before joining Nurix Therapeutics, Marilena worked at Dynavax Technologies as a Senior Scientist from January 2019 to October 2019, Scientist II from September 2016 to January 2019, and Scientist I from February 2015 to September 2016. Prior to that, they were a Postdoc at the Department of Immunology, Research Center, Novartis Vaccines from January 2013 to September 2014. Marilena also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Microbiology, Tumor and Cell Biology (MTC), Karolinska Institutet from December 2010 to November 2012. Marilena started their research career as a PhD student researcher at the Department of Microbial Molecular Biology, Research Center, Novartis Vaccines from December 2005 to November 2010.

Marilena Gallotta completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology from the Università degli Studi di Siena in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from Università degli Studi di Perugia in 2005.
