Paul Novick has a diverse work experience in different industries. Paul started their career as a 8th-grade math/science teacher at Teach for America from August 2005 to June 2007. Paul then worked as a life science research assistant and chemistry graduate student at Stanford University from September 2007 to May 2014. After that, they joined Globavir Biosciences, Inc. as a Director of Drug Discovery from June 2014 to June 2016. Currently, they are working at Nurix, Inc. as a Director of Machine Learning and Cheminformatics since September 2016.

Paul Novick received a PhD in Chemistry from Stanford University from 2008 to 2014. Paul also obtained a Certificate, Stanford Ignite (formerly SIE) from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at Duke University, earning a BA in Chemistry and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from 2001 to 2005.
