Stevan Djakovic

Stevan Djakovic is a seasoned professional in clinical science with extensive experience in oncology and immunotherapy. Currently serving as Senior Director of Clinical Science at Nurix Therapeutics since January 2025, Djakovic is instrumental in advancing the company’s clinical pipeline. Prior to this role, Djakovic spent nearly eight years at Genentech, progressively advancing through positions from Clinical Scientist Associate to Senior Principal Clinical Scientist, focusing on the early development of novel anti-cancer therapies. Djakovic also gained valuable experience at Cleave Biosciences, leading clinical development initiatives for oncology and contributing to regulatory submissions. Djakovic's academic background includes a PhD in Biology from UC San Diego, where research centered on neurobiology, as well as notable postdoctoral work in neurodegenerative disease.
