Brian Dowdell

Brian Dowdell is an experienced investment professional and executive with a diverse background in technology, education, and banking sectors. As a Partner at RGD Partners since 2017, Brian focuses on long-term equity investments across various growth stages and industries, including seed investments in early-stage tech and private equity in middle-market growth companies. Prior to this, Brian was the Chief Executive Officer of Nuro Retention from 2020 to 2023, an EdTech company aimed at improving college graduation rates through predictive analytics. Brian's investment experience also includes roles as an Investor with Tech Coast Angels and IrishAngels, and a managerial position at Accenture, where expertise was developed in core banking, payments, and lending industries. Brian holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
