Against a backdrop of increasing populations, urbanisation and unpredictable rainfall patterns and ageing assets; Water companies need to find efficiencies in how they manage their wastewater infrastructure.

nuron has developed a fibre sensing technology that is a step change for sewer monitoring, measuring multiple flow parameters continuously within a sewer network and communicating real-time data to wastewater operators for making smart and timely decisions.

nuron fibre sensing technology is dual purpose technology, not only providing a step change in waste monitoring but also providing the fibre infrastructure for smart cities, Fibre to the Home and 5G
