Jessica Throwe

Jessica Throwe is a dedicated public health nurse currently employed at Nurse-Family Partnership since June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a labor and delivery nurse at LCMC Health from August 2021 to May 2022, and undertaking various nursing roles at the University of Maryland Medical Center, including NICU student nurse and labor and delivery student nurse extern. Jessica has a background in community health work and outreach, having worked as a community health worker and a community outreach intern at the National Institutes of Health. Additional roles span teaching positions and international volunteer coordination, including experience as an English teacher in Romania and as a campus director for a non-profit organization. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Maryland, obtained in 2018.
