Rebecca Calver has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Rebecca is currently the Head of Corporate Planning Performance and Risk at The Nursing and Midwifery Council. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing corporate planning, performance, and risk management. Prior to this, Rebecca worked at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, where they held various roles including Events and Engagement Programme Manager, Community Engagement Manager, and Community Engagement Team Leader. During their time at Battersea, they led the redesign of the engagement program, developed partnerships with local organizations, and managed education programs focused on responsible pet ownership. Rebecca has also worked at the Animal Health Trust as a Senior Communications Officer, Dogs Trust as a Supporter Relations Officer, World Horse Welfare as an International Programme Officer, Gulf Ventures - Dnata Travel Services as a Team Building Activities Manager, and the Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds as a Fundraising Project Manager. Overall, Rebecca has demonstrated their ability to lead teams, drive strategic initiatives, and effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Rebecca Calver attended the University of the West of England from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Equine Business Management. Prior to that, they attended Gravesend Grammar School for Girls from 2000 to 2007 and obtained A Levels in Biology, English Literature and Language, and Product Design. In addition, Rebecca Calver has obtained a certification in Advanced Strategic Planning for Directors from In Professional Development (InPD) in 2023.
