Hans Keil

Hans Keil has an extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Hans co-founded and served as CEO of Nurture Genomics starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they were a member of the Board of Advisors at Cyberstarts - The Founders Powered VC since August 2019. From January 2020 to May 2022, Keil held the position of Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer at Beaumont Health, where they were responsible for digital innovation, IT operations, applications, data analytics, and cybersecurity. Before that, they served as Chief Information Officer at PerkinElmer, Inc., leading a team across 22 countries and delivering IT services to a multinational public company. At PerkinElmer, they played a key role in modernizing IT capabilities through various cloud-based platforms and cost-saving initiatives. Hans also held positions within PerkinElmer as the Business Line Leader, Informatics, and Senior Director in different departments. Before joining PerkinElmer, Keil served in the United States Coast Guard Reserve as a Marine Science Technician from 1987 to 2002. Hans also worked as a Business Analyst at the US Department of Commerce, managing technology projects for various federal agencies.

Hans Keil has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. Hans also holds a Master's Degree in International Affairs from American University and a Bachelor's Degree in History (Honors) from Western University. In addition, they obtained certification in Biomedical Research Investigators and Key Personnel from CITI Program, a Division of BRANY, in February 2021.
