Casey Harrison

Casey Harrison has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations. From 2016 to the present, Harrison has worked at Nuru International, starting as a Rural Livelihoods Strategic Advisor and progressing to Livelihoods and Agribusiness Director. Currently, Harrison holds the role of Impact and Learning Director at Nuru International. Prior to this, Harrison worked at the World Wildlife Fund from 2013 to 2016, serving as a Program Officer and later as a Senior Program Officer. Before that, Harrison worked as a Sustainability Intern at the University for Peace in 2012, where they were involved in designing and managing a Permaculture Garden. Harrison's earliest work experience was as an Agroforestry Extension Agent with the Peace Corps from 2009 to 2011, where they worked on various initiatives related to food security, agriculture practices, and community development in Zambia.

Casey Harrison's education history begins in 2005 when they enrolled at Towson University. Casey completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History of the Americas in 2008. In 2011, Casey pursued further education at American University, where they obtained their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Relations and Affairs, which they completed in 2013. Simultaneously, from 2011 to 2013, they studied at the United Nations University for Peace in Costa Rica, where they obtained another Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Natural Resource Management and Sustainable Development.
