Senior Project Manager at Nusano

Kasey Lund has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Most recently, in 2022, they worked as a Technical Project Manager at Nusano. Prior to that, Kasey had a long tenure in the Army National Guard from 2004, holding various roles including CPT/O3 (Captain) and MOS in different locations. Kasey also worked as an Accelerator Physicist at Niowave, Inc. from 2021-2022 and as a Beam Physicist at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Lab from 2016-2021. They were a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) from 2015-2016 and a Research Assistant at CMR WSU from 2011-2015. Kasey started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Washington State University in 2010 and also worked as a Post Bachelors Research Associate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory - PNNL from 2009-2010. Earlier in their career, Kasey served as a Teaching Assistant at Montana State University from 2008-2009 and was a Student Researcher there from 2005-2009. They also had a Student Internship at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory - PNNL in 2007. Through these various roles, Kasey gained experience in project management, physics research, teaching, and military leadership.

Kasey Lund has a strong educational background in the field of physics. From 2010 to 2015, Kasey attended Washington State University and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physics. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2009, Kasey attended Montana State University-Bozeman, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Mathematics, and French.

In addition to their academic achievements, Kasey also holds two notable certifications. In September 2018, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In February 2020, Kasey obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA.
