Andrew Child

Andrew Child is a Probable Risk Assessment Engineer II at NuScale Power, a position held since October 2018, following a role as Engineer II at JENSEN HUGHES from July 2017 to September 2018, where a thermal hydraulic model for Wylfa Newydd ABWRs was developed. Previous experience includes serving as a Probable Risk Assessment Engineering Intern at NuScale Power from May 2014 to June 2017, where a computational model of a reactor building was created using MELCOR 1.8, and as a Research Assistant at Oregon State University from June 2013 to May 2014, working on software development for data output from sensors. Andrew Child holds a Master's Degree in Nuclear Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Engineering with a Physics Minor, both from Oregon State University.
