Matt Soicher

Matt Soicher is a seasoned professional in the field of biomedical engineering with extensive experience in project control and plant engineering. Currently serving as the Work Planning and Execution Lead for Plant Engineering at NuScale Power since July 2019, Matt has previously held the role of Project Control Specialist. Prior experience includes positions as a Biomedical Engineer at Hayes & Associates, focusing on injury biomechanics and accident reconstruction, and at BEC Consulting. Academic credentials include a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, where research concentrated on equine tissue for bone tissue engineering, complemented by a BS in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Florida.
