Amber Verraest

Amber Verraest currently serves as the Manufacturing Excellence Lead at Nuscience, where responsibility includes leading and supporting the continuous improvement initiatives within the factory, facilitating improvement events with multidisciplinary teams using lean principles and tools. Prior roles include Quality Assurance Officer at Nuscience, managing the Quality Manual and conducting audits, as well as serving as a Junior Validation & Compliance Engineer at Agidens, focusing on hospital validation. Amber began career development with a Master Thesis at Puratos, exploring the functionalities of flour and improving agents in bread making. Educational credentials include a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma from The Lean Six Sigma Company, a Master of Science in Engineering from KU Leuven, and a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from Odisee.
