Karan Gupta is an accomplished technology leader with extensive expertise in engineering and software architecture, currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Nutanix since July 2013. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Architect and Senior Director at Nutanix, and Software Architect at Violin Memory, where Karan led the development of the Data Management Stack. At IBM Research, Karan was the lead architect for the GPFS File Placement Optimizer, enhancing distributed cluster filesystem efficiency.
