Varun Arora

Varun Arora is a seasoned technology professional with over 15 years of experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Nutanix since November 2011, Varun has held various roles including Senior Staff Engineer. Prior experience includes working at Aster Data where responsibilities included designing performance infrastructure and integrating alerting services, and at Oracle where Varun contributed to the development of the Group Chat API and presence services. Varun also has an academic background as a Teaching Assistant at Stanford University and has held research and intern positions at esteemed institutions. Varun holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Continuing education includes participation in courses through Coursera.
