Shayne W.

Shayne W. has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Starting in 2017, they worked as a Contractor at the Johnson Space Center, leading a team to design and implement a personalized mission reminder tool for the NASA HUNCH program. In 2019, they joined Vancord as a Technical Intern, eventually taking on roles as Network Technician, Network Technician II, and Network Technician III. During this time, they gained expertise in various projects such as computer imaging, network infrastructure redesign, server deployment, and next-generation firewalls. In 2021, Shayne worked as an IT Consultant, providing architectural and engineering consulting to a range of clients. Currently, they are employed at Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union as a Systems Engineer, responsible for maintaining the infrastructure environment and leading the infrastructure team. They also manage large company-wide projects and participate in budgeting and contract negotiation.

Shayne W. earned a High School Diploma in Information Technology from Platt Technical High School, completing their education from 2016 to 2020. In addition, Shayne has obtained several certifications, including CompTIA Network+ in 2020, CompTIA Security+ in 2022, and an FBI CJIS Level 4 certification in 2021. They have also acquired certifications from Microsoft, such as Introduction to Programming Using JavaScript and various Microsoft Office certifications. Furthermore, Shayne obtained certifications from VMware and Fortinet, including VMware Certified Professional (Datacenter Virtualization), NSE1 & NSE2, Network Security Architect - NSE7, and Network Security Professional - NSE4.
