Gerjan van Alst

Gerjan van Alst has a diverse work experience history. Gerjan started their career at Hypor, a Hendrix Genetics company, where they served as the Director of Operations and Regional Manager Europe from January 2012 to December 2013. Afterward, they assumed the role of Director Global Operations and R&D at Hypor from January 2014 to February 2015. Gerjan then transitioned to Trouw Nutrition Benelux and served as the General Manager from March 2015 to October 2018. Following this, Gerjan joined Trouw Nutrition and became the Procurement Director, a member of the Trouw Nutrition Management Team, from November 2018 to December 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Procurement Director Micro Ingredients at Nutreco since January 2022.

Gerjan van Alst earned a Master in Science degree in Agricultural Genetics from Wageningen University & Research, completing their studies from 1987 to 1992. In addition, they obtained a certification in Advanced Strategic Management from IMD in November 2014.
