Anthony Shrewsbury

Anthony Shrewsbury is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in maintenance, engineering, and operations management. Currently serving as the Maintenance and Engineering Superintendent at Nutrien since February 2024, Anthony previously held key positions at Southern States Chemical Inc as Engineering Manager, Plant Manager, and Assistant Plant Manager from February 2016 to February 2024. Prior to that, Anthony operated a consulting firm from December 2014 to February 2016 and worked as a Technology Education Teacher at New Hanover County Schools from November 2013 to November 2014. Anthony's career began at PotashCorp in various roles, culminating as Chemical Plant Superintendent and Mine Operations Manager over a span of 12 years. Additionally, Anthony gained early engineering experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer at ESCO Corporation and Sandvik. Anthony earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University in 1995.
