Kim Friesen

Kim Friesen is the CSO at NutriQuest. Kim has over 25 years of experience in animal health and nutrition. Kim previously worked as the Sr. Director of Food Animal Product Development at Elanco, where they were responsible for global food animal technology development. Prior to that, they were the Director of the therapeutic development area at Elanco Animal Health. Kim also spent 8 years at Hill's Pet Nutrition as the Associate Director, leading the research team for new technology against key disease indications. Kim began their career at Tyson Foods as the Director of Feed Milling and Nutrition, where they supervised three feed mills and was responsible for feed formulation and nutrition program implementation. Kim has a passion for animal health and nutrition and is dedicated to finding new ways to improve the health and wellbeing of animals.

Kim Friesen began their educational career by obtaining a BS in Animal Sciences from the University of Nebraska. Kim then went on to obtain a Ph.D. in Swine Nutrition from Kansas State University.
