Asif Nawaz is an experienced FCA with a diverse background in finance and management. Asif has held leadership positions in various organizations, including Nutrition International and Dignitas International, where they were responsible for overseeing financial and accounting functions. As Director of Finance and Operations at Dignitas International, they also contributed to strategic planning and managed organizational policies and procedures. Prior to that, Asif worked at Plan International Canada, where they led financial and compliance oversight for two regions. Asif also has experience in the non-profit sector, having served as Head of Finance for Journalists for Human Rights and EFSL Finance Manager at Oxfam Great Britain. Asif's earlier career included roles such as Chief of Finance and Administration at Mission East and Country Finance Manager at Dutch Committee for Afghanistan. Their work experience has encompassed financial management, budgeting, audits, compliance, and internal/external reporting. Asif began their career as a Staff Auditor at Morison International, UK Affiliate.

Asif Nawaz, FCA completed a CommunityShift™ program in Leadership and Strategy for Not-for-Profits at The Ivey Academy at Ivey Business School in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained the CPA certification in Accounting from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in 2016. Between 1998 and 2004, they studied Accounting and Finance at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and earned a CA degree.
