Dylan Walters

Project Director, Health Economics at Nutrition International

Dylan Walters has a diverse work experience in the field of global health and nutrition. In 2005, they worked as a Volunteer Research Intern at the Centre for Policy Analysis on Trade and Health (CPATH). From 2008 to 2014, they worked at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), first as a Research Analyst and later as a Project Manager for the SickKids Global Child Health Program. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Policy Analysis Officer at the Canadian Coalition for Global Health Research (CCGHR). Dylan then joined FHI 360 as an Associate Consultant in Health Economics for the Alive and Thrive project in 2015. During the same year, they became a Consultant at The World Bank, focusing on Nutrition Costing. Most recently, in 2018, they started working as a Project Director in Health Economics at Nutrition International.

Dylan Walters completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Economics - Health Services Research at the University of Toronto from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Critical Disability Studies from York University from 2007 to 2009. Dylan also holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, both obtained from Queen's University from 2000 to 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Dylan obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2012.
