Paula Tenaglia

Paula Tenaglia has extensive experience in the humanitarian sector, with a focus on program operations and leadership roles. Paula is currently employed as the Sr. Director Program Operations at Nutrition International. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Operations Officer at Action Against Hunger / Action contre la Faim Canada for nearly a decade. Paula also held various positions at Action Against Hunger | ACF-USA, including Director of the Regional Training Center and Country Director for Southern Sudan and Sierra Leone. Additionally, they served as the Regional Country Director for Central America at Acción contra el Hambre. Paula's career began as a Logistics Assistant at the World Food Programme. Paula has also gained research experience at Precision Prospecting Ltd and the Development Research Center on Migration, Globalization and Poverty - University of Sussex.

Paula Tenaglia has a B.A. in International Development from the University of Guelph, which they attained between the years 1997 and 2001. Paula then pursued further education at the University of Sussex, completing their M.A. in Migration Studies from 2003 to 2004. In 2007 and 2008, they attended Seneca Polytechnic for a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management. Lastly, in 2011, Paula completed the Social Sector Emerging Leadership Program at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, specializing in Organizational Leadership.
