Sreejita Basu

Sreejita Basu serves as the Manager of Advocacy & Communications for Nutrition International in India since August 2022. With prior experience as a Manager (IEC Specialist) at KPMG India from February 2018 to March 2022, Sreejita was instrumental in managing the Information, Education & Communication portfolio for the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban). Sreejita’s role included significant contributions to urban sanitation initiatives across 4000+ Urban Local Bodies. Earlier positions include Communication & Documentation Coordinator at the National Institute of Urban Affairs, where Sreejita contributed to the IHUWASH project, and roles at InsPIRE Network for Environment and Global March Against Child Labour, focusing on communication and outreach. Sreejita's educational background includes a Master's degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Post-Graduation in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Xavier Institute of Communications.
